The AfriKids #girlPOWER appeal really caught our eye as they are on a mission to support girls and improve their access to education in Ghana, empowering them to become the next generation of trailblazing women in STEM.

In 2023, we teamed up with AfriKids for their STEM Club virtual event whereby Suzanne, one of our co-founders, joined three STEM Untapped role models, Gargi Vijayaraghavan, Kerry Hill, and Ahmya Rivera for a virtual event with the STEM students in Ghana to share insight into their STEM experience and careers.

There were high levels of engagement and an honest conversation between the role models and the STEM students. We received such positive feedback from both parties and AfriKids reported that the STEM Club students found it really valuable and insightful.
